Practicum

OMG! This week for three days I had to go to a classical conversations practicum (which is a home-school group). It was a debate camp. It was from 9:00 to 4:00 and i am not an early riser. We had a 2 hour car ride so i had to get up at about 6:15. I was riding with my best friend Griff, another guy named Levi, and Griff's little brother, Jesse. When we got there all the girls were so preppy, so I just hung with the boys. The class was 7 hours on 1 subject and i have always been home-schooled so i am not used stuff like that. The woman who was teaching was terrible. UGH!
I am so glad that that is over! There was this one guy there who was really cute and funny named Jonathan. But him and all the boys I hung out with like this one 15 yr. old girl named Emily and they were only 13.
Levi said he would teach me how to read tabs (we both are musicians). But he didn't!
Then at the end of the three days we had to do a debate. I had a totally suck-ish partner and we completely bombed!
Oh well at least it is over.

Goats

My family and I raise goats. But, we have really crappy fencing so...... they get out and go the neighbors or the road. What we have to do is turn them out and watch them for like an hour. Sometimes they are absolutely evil and run from one place to another and won't come when you call them. There is 3 goats who are the leaders and will lead the rest of the goats. These three are the rottenest. We have about 24 goats and it can be really hard to keep up with them. We used to have to go and do this shepherd thing. But they have been behaving better recently and will actually go out to the back field (we have 42 acres and they have just recently gone exploring instead of hanging around the house).
Oh.......it can be truly miserable having goats. They get out of everything!!! I turned them out about a half hour ago and they SEEM to be behaving. I am sitting at the computer constantly glancing out the back door to see where they are.
